Improving Vici Park

We are proud of all that has been achieved and are excited to continue to work together and improve Vici Park for all our members.

Some of our recent achievements:

Building and Infrastructure

• Roof and southern wall painted in heat reflective paint – 100% sponsored by Higgins Coatings
• Remainder of walls painted in heat reflective paint – heavily discounted
• Replaced alsynite sheeting (clear roof sheets) – Insurance claim
• Replaced old heat extracting fans with new solar heat extracting fans
• Added motors to 4 out of 7 roller doors
• Installed security light to car park area and repaired existing external lighting
• Repaired Fire Exit lights

Council has agreed to assist us with the maintenance of the grounds around the gym and will look at making improvements to the car park area.

New Gym Equipment

• New gym floor – $100k+
• New Bars
• New MAG rings
• Addition of strength area and strength equipment upstairs
• Included installation of fencing to gym floor area

Rearrangement of the gym floor to accommodate new floor and other equipment and to use the space more efficiently

Uniforms

• New competition leotard for all comp WAG/MAG/TRP gymnasts
• WAG Level 1-3 and TRP Level 1-2 leotard still in progress
• New Staff Shirt
• 2021 Membership shirt with sponsors

• Successful in gaining 11 sponsors (over 4 levels) for the 2021 year
• Installation of sponsor signs on internal and external walls
